Born in Jamaica in 1956, Nigel Scott spent a few years working in the fashion industry in Toronto. He moved to Paris in 1987, where he lived and worked as a fashion photographer for ten years. In 1999, while in Japan, Scott collaborated with Japanese artist Seitaro Kuroda on a book entitled New York in My Pocket, published by Amuse Books. Scott’s work was featured in Michelle Olley’s book, Venus: Masterpieces of Modern Erotic Photography, published in 2000 by Carlton.
