Hana Elmasry presents a newly commissioned artwork as part of the exhibition Being and Belonging: Contemporary Women Artists from the Islamic World and Beyond, on view July 1 - November 19, 2023, at the ROM. The exhibition, curated by Dr. Fahmida Suleman and Dr. Silvia Forni, examines modern-day issues from the perspectives of women artists connected to the broader Islamic world.
