Vincent Barré, Twins, commissioned work in progress for the city of Amilly, 2023
As part of a sponsorship donation, the City of Amilly will install Twins by Vincent Barré, a monumental sculpture at the entrance to the city giving access to the Tanneries Art Center (Les Tanneries).
Twins are made up of two hollow iron cast columns. The columns sit face to face at the center of the grassy space, with a row of trees in the background. Eventually, the grassy space will be named "Calcinaia Square" after the name of the Italian twin city.
