Myriad is the first major solo exhibition of Montreal-based artist Peter Campbell. Peter Campbell will give a walk through of the works, including a selection of new paintings and wood sculptures, reunited in the exhibition marry patterns found in the natural world with design and architecture to ponder notions of physical space and the cosmos. Myriad is a metaphor for the universe of minimal gestures that Campbell employs to build compositions - a path to reconcile opposite forces such as natural versus artificial, minimalist versus ornamented or human versus divine.
